Stacy Cober:  Your DFW Real Estate Agent

I am a service-oriented real estate agent who helps home buyers and sellers in the DFW area.  If you are looking for an agent with patience, perseverance, and a passion for helping people, you have just found her!

Following a Passion for Real Estate

My love for real estate and interior design began when I was a little girl.  My grandfather used to build homes and was a real estate developer.  I was born and raised in Irving, TX and have lived in various cities throughout the DFW metroplex.  I have a lifelong connection to this community and the people who call it home.  More importantly, I know the local real estate market and how to navigate it successfully.

Career Path:  From Retail Executive to Real Estate

I graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton with a Bachelor of Science in fashion merchandising with a minor in marketing and business management.  After graduating, I pursued a career in retail and eventually became a senior executive; managing multiple locations.

I worked in retail management for 17 years, before transitioning into real estate.  My background in sales, customer service, visual merchandising and management makes me a better agent.  I strive to exceed my client’s expectations in all aspects of the real estate process, and to “WOW” them with my service-oriented approach.  Also, the process of making a sale and negotiating comes natural to me.

I have always had a passion for real estate, even though it was not my first career.  When buying my first home, I found the entire process fascinating—from house hunting to the final transfer of ownership.  My first home was also my first experience in remodeling.  My husband and I renovated the entire house and it was such a wonderful experience making something our own.

A Smoother, Less Stressful Real Estate Experience

Buying or selling a home can be exciting.  But it can also be stressful.  It’s particularly stressful for first-time home buyers and those who have a short timeline.  I know this firsthand, because I have been there myself.  That is why I work extra hard to keep my clients informed, and to make the process as smooth as possible.

If you have any questions about my real estate services, or what I can do to help you, please don’t hesitate to ask.  I look forward to hearing from you!
